  • Cleaning and Care

      • The best and safest cleaner for a mirror is clear warm water, used with a soft and grit-free cloth, to reduce chances of scratching the surface.
      But take care Not to allow the edges of the mirror to get or remain wet over a period of time.
      • If using a commercial glass or mirror cleaner, be sure to use a standard brand of glass or mirror cleaner that does not contain ammonia or vinegar.
      Do not use Windex.
      Never spray any cleaner directly on to a mirror. Instead, apply the cleaner to a soft cloth and then wipe the mirror.
      • Be sure to dry all joints and edges thoroughly to be certain that no commercial cleaner comes in contact with the edges and backing.

  • How do you change lamps?

      • Lighted Mirrors used T5 fluorescent lamps, to change it simply lift the mirror surface up and off the chassis to gain access to the lamps.
      Take care that, once the mirror surface is removed, lamps are easy to replace.
      • Lighted Mirror used LEDs, you can stick the LED lamp belt of suitable length, to replace the original LED lamp belt. Or turn for help to local electrician.
      • Make sure to place the mirror on a soft surface to prevent chipping edges
      How long do lamps last for?
      • Lighted Mirrors use LEDs that generally are rated for 50,000 hours and can be expected to last 10 years or more depending on usage..
      • Lighted Mirrors use T5 fluorescent lamps that generally are rated for 35,000 hours and can be expected to last eight years or more depending on usage.

  • If my TV of TV Mirror breaks, can it be replaced?

      Yes, FOTO can either have the current TV returned to be fixed and returned, or a replacement TV be sent with the original returned to FOTO. If the TV is still under warranty there is no charge.
